Local 129 Pint Night will be held on Wednesday, November 20th from 6:00–9:00 PM at Wrightsville Beach Brewery.

This event is a great opportunity to relax with family, friends, and fellow firefighters while supporting our Local. One dollar from every pint of select beer sold will be donated directly to Local 129.

Live music will be provided by Adam Fenton in the Beer Garden, and all are welcome to attend.

Beyond this night, this event is part of our effort to strengthen our partnership with the community and Wrightsville Beach Brewery. With continued support and participation, we hope to grow this collaboration into something lasting, including the potential for a custom Local 129 beer that represents our dedication, service, and the city we proudly protect.

Local 129 is proud to announce an upcoming collaboration with the UNCW Men’s Basketball Team for a Community Day event on Saturday, December 20th at 2:00 PM, when UNCW takes on Howard.

This event will be an opportunity for Local 129 to partner with the university, engage with the public, and share what we do within the community. We’ve been invited to set up an information table at the game, connect with fans, and help educate the public about our mission, community programs, and the work our members do every day.

As part of this collaboration, we’ll be producing a special edition t-shirt featuring the UNCW logo on the front and the Local 129 logo on the back to celebrate our partnership and show unity between the fire service and the Seahawk community. A limited supply of 120 shirts will be handed out at the game while supplies last to members and the public.

We will also be in need of volunteers to help staff the Local 129 table during the event. This will be a great opportunity to interact with the public, represent the Local, and promote what we stand for. Members interested in volunteering can get with any of the Executive Board members to sign up, we are looking for 2-4 members who will engage the public.

We encourage all members and their families to attend the game, wear their Local 129 apparel, and help make this a strong showing of support and community presence.
